Avionics bus technology is the base of avionics integrated system,with responsibility forinformation exchange and resource sharing between different subsystem on the plane.Becauseof the important role of Avionics bus, develop a universal avionics bus test system is veryimportant.This project comes from GuangZhou aircraft maintenance company radio department.The purpose of the project is to develop a testing system that can detect many kinds ofaviation electronic equipment.Testing system communicate with measured avionicsequipment through the air bus. The system has two main characteristic: automation andgenerality. Generality contain two kinds of meanings:1.support a variety of avionics bus,likeARINC429、ARINC453、ARINC717and so on.2. provides generic hardware interface,beable to detect aviation electronic equipment with different interface.This thesis starts with an introduction,which explains the development of theaviation. Then,detailed introduces two main air bus protocol:ARINC429and MIL-STD-1553B.Afterwards, the avionics bus testing system’s demand is analyzed.Based on this, the system’swhole structure is established. The system hardware platform selects GPIB bus and PXI busas platform bus.And choose Gefanuc company’s P-708, CEI830-1313j as air bus data card.Software platform selects Microsoft Visual C++2008as software development tools. Itinclude two parts: control platform and test equipment operation function library. Compilemodule is the core of control platform, it can compile platform’s test language. In order toimprove the efficiency of program development,system contains the TPS development,operation and debugging environment. Test equipment operation function library containsfunctions that can control each test equipment. The most important is avionics dataacquisition card operation function library.At present, some aviation equipment test procedures has been development on thesystem,for example VHF-920. Through the analysis of these equipment test results, we cansee that the system runs steadily, the test results are accurate and can meet the testrequirements of the company.
