Avionics system provides the functions of communication, navigation, mission, display&control, which is a key component in aeroplane system. The avionics system is also deemed to be the most important and complicated system in aeroplane system, which is one of the advance indicate. in recent years, the integrated modular avionics system being developed To reduce the cost and improve the performance, reliability, maintainability.With the development of the simulation technology, the simulation is become the efficacious tools to develop the avionics , through the simulation the development time will be shortened and the cost will be reduced.According to the IMA design of the next generation of avionics system, with the High Level Architecture, this paper designed a simulation architecture for the next generation of avionics system.Designed and implemented the simulation object model and software. Build the simulation system which consists of a set of PCs, workstations and GBit LAN. On the simulation system, the experiment of the integrated modular architecture and workflow for the avionics system was implemented. Proved the design is valid, and the system has good effect.In collectivity, the system architecture, composition and features for the next generation of avionics are presented in the thesis. The simulation control and information flow chart of the system are analyzed in detail. The design of the system's federates is introduced in this thesis. What is more, the software and hardware run time platforms are also introduced.In detail, the author introduced the design and realization of Simulation Object Model and Federate Object Model. The flow chart of the federate are presented.
