Non-avionics Systems Monitoring Technology Research

With the development of microelectronic and computer technology which has extensively been used in the field of field of aviation, there gradually come forth the integrated avionics technique in which Non-avionics system monitoring (NASM) technique is one of important portions. Non-avionics monitoring system plays a great role to achieve the new generation integrated, digital and intelligent avionics also to improve tactical capability and survivability of the aircraft.This paper presents the origination, development, prospective and application of the non-avionics system monitoring techniques. The basic model of the non-avionics system monitoring has been analyzed. On the base of a real avionics of the aircraft, of system architecture, principles and implementation techniques and emulation of the non-avionics monitoring system have been described in detail.The design and application of the serial communication protocol based on EIA-RS-422A used in the Non-avionics monitoring system have been lucubrated.The Non-avionics monitoring system has been implemented by the No.631 institute of the Chinese Aviation Industry.
