The inlet and outlet water quality on-line monitoring system of municipal sewagetreatment plant, as the work environment data sources, pollution measurement, environmentaldecision-making and management, and environmental enforcement system based on part ofenvironmental protection, has played an important role in China. Urban sewage has been onlyin the process of artificial control, the people and the higher regulatory authorities not betimely informed of effectiveness of treatment, so establishing on-line monitoring system ofmunicipal wastewater treatment plant is necessary.This subject summed up and learned domestic and foreign environmental monitoringinformation based on advanced experience and trends, through sewage treatment plant inGuangzhou line monitoring system for program design and research, investigatingenvironmental monitoring combined with information technology, especially in automaticcontrol technology, database technology, network communications technology. It designed atechnologically advanced on-line monitoring system of municipal sewage treatment plant toimprove information technology of environmental monitoring in Guangzhou and China, andenhanced environmental management and decision-making capacity. At the same time itprovided a reference in the construction of theory and practice for China’s inlet and outletwater quality on-line monitoring system of urban sewage treatment plant.In the design of this system, it is as the data collector to the core, through field datacollected automatically to upload, automatic alarm, and remote control central station, toachieve the implementation of key monitoring data acquisition and remote monitoring insewage treatment. Moreover, it used of sophisticated wireless communication (GPRS), brokethe traditional wired communications, and made data transmission capacity, safety and costefficiency. We make use of Web Service and take ASP.NET as database management platformof a system, to develop application software by monitoring the workflow main line in thesystem, covering the business of the city’s sewage treatment plant on-line monitoring system.Its function and application is better than before. PLC combined with monitoringconfiguration software perfectly, which made monitoring configuration software for PLC andother intelligent devices I/O data to be monitored. This article focused on the use of PLCand monitoring configuration software to achieve the urban sewage treatment plant on-linemonitoring system in design and implementation.Through research, development and practical application of this system, we willimprove the level of theory and application of the urban sewage treatment plant on-line monitoring in the city of Guangzhou and China, for promotion and construction of urbansewage treatment plant inlet and outlet water quality on-line monitoring system in China toprovide a reference of theory and practice.
