Developing Virtual Intelligent Policing Platform With Its Key Technology Research And Implement

The research of police information display and communication platform is usefulto facilitate internal communications, public relations and promote social stability.Reference to latest literatures, this paper introduced the key technologies and theircurrent situations of intelligent virtual environment. There is a clear lack for traditionalinformation display and communication platform in mass interaction and participation.And it is not enough for further data mining and high-end applications because theinformation systems cannot be associated. In order to improve public participation, thenew virtual environment must overcome these shortages.Intelligent virtual environment can provide users with immersive, user-friendly,interactive remote service. Building intelligent virtual environments includes the designof interactive tools, intelligent virtual scenarios building as well as the communicationlink between users and between user and server. Based on these three aspects, we firststudy the tree-dimensional interactive especially the monocular vision-based gestureinteraction and introduce the resolution scheme system adopted. Then present theexisting research in semantic intelligent scene building technology, combined with theclient build distributed virtual reality system, describe the interaction of the systemprogram. Finally we study the communication model of distributed systems, describedthe CORBA based communication technologies we construct. These studies laid thefoundation for virtual police platform.Through analyses the key technologies of the existing intelligent virtualenvironments, the virtual police room can realize infinite replicability of the exhibits,display means diversity, convenience of user management and immersing. This internalinformation platform facilitates information sharing and strengthens the links in thevarious departments. Conducive to public participation and communication, tointroduction of the common will to development plans, to improve public participationand transparency of the major decision-making events. It also can raise public support for the police officers work, conducive to the establishment of the police and thecommunity close as fish and water.
