Since the1990s, China’s banking system has undergone significant developmentthrough the ATM and other kinds of self-service online banking solutions. The type andquantity of self-service online banking equipment invested by major commercial bankshas increased rapidly. In the process of the substantial increment of the bankingportfolio, self-service banking services play more and more important role in variousbanking environments. Since large number of self-service equipment has beenemployed in the banking system, and plays an important role, how to improve themanagement and increase the efficiency of self-service online service have become animportant issue in the banking management, and they also further impact thecompetition of banking market itself. But different types, different brands of self-serviceequipment ATMC and monitoring software used by their manufacturers caused theproblems that non-uiform software version, chaotic management and weak monitoringand management function. These problems become the implementation background ofusing a new generation of self-service equipment monitoring and management systemby the Inner Mongolia Auto Region Rural Credit Cooperatives where the author worksfor.In this project, the author mainly took charge of the overall project planning,requirement analysis and following up the project. By combining with the successfulexperience of various banks and the actual needs of the rural credit cooperatives in InnerMongolia, a set of ATM device monitoring and management system that is compatibleto B/S, C/S architecture has been built. The system helps the region’s rural creditcooperatives for the first time to achieve centralized management of different types,different brands of self-service equipments. And it provides automated centralized eventmanagement functions for solving all kinds of malfunctions in the self-serviceequipment, and offers centralized management and monitoring functions for the statusand transaction in the self-service equipment. This paper analyzes the key part of theself-service equipment monitoring and management system technology, and elaboratessystem architecture, system implementations and molecular systems design. Based on C++programming for data acquisition and collective management system, thisproposed system meets the requirement of the management efficiency and systemstability for the Inner Mongolia Rural Credit Cooperatives; By using JAVA voicedevelopment environment and WEB application, this system can not only providefriendly application and maintenance interface, but also make the system itself havegood portability; Moreover, the system security can also be guaranteed by encryptingmajor information and data.Gradually through the monitoring and management system’s on-line application, theInner Mongolia Rural Credit Cooperatives can significantly improve the self-service equipmentutilization and management efficiency, quantitative assess each device administrators and suppliermanufacturers, and thus realize the management objective of reducing costs, improvingefficiency and controlling risk.
