With the rapid development of computer technology, the storage, communication and display of the large-capacity digital information could be achieved, and it promote the development of medical digital technology largely, which could greatly improves the work efficiency of doctors. However, the amount of information is growing more and more, and how to use the information to provide services for doctors effectively? The Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) appeared. The PACS are comprehensive solutions to the medical image acquisition, display, storage, transmission and management, which making medical image could be obtained directly from the inspection equipment and making the video data sharing and management effectively. PACS plays an important role in the improvement of production efficiency and quality of service in the hospital. Medical Imaging has the characteristic of large amount of data, complex data types and long-time reservation, which requiring PACS not only has vast amounts of storage space, but also has a higher ability to read data. In this paper, the computer technology and the medical field are used as the interation point. The medical management was illustrated and explorated with computer technology.In this paper, using the technology comparison and analysis of several storage media, the appropriate storage media is selected by combing with the PACS storage architecture. Through the storage architecture of PACS researching and discussing study of the difference between the centralized storage and hierarchical storage, the structural hierarchy of storage systems, and the characteristics of storage system of PACS, this paper explains the tertiary storage architecture of online, near line, offline as well as the advantages of the classified storage. Moreover, the key issues of PACS’construction and system-supporting environment were analyzed. In the sequent the architecture of cloud storage system was proposed. With the applying cloud-storage platform to the construction of hospital PACS storage system, the efficient storage and retrieval of the hospital image were achieved. Based on the theories and the actual needs of the Jining First People’s Hospital, this paper designs the needs analysis of Jining First People’s Hospital in detail. Moreover, on the basis of the needs analysis, the medical image storage program and the system maintenance of Jining First People’s Hospital are designed and implemented.
