Real-time monitoring and security stable transmission of the complex environment in the ground of coal mine is the important factors to ensure the production safety. Because in our country most of the coal mining are underground, underground mine environment is complex, accident occurs frequently, therefore, we need real-time monitoring system to monitor the area and reduce accidents, so as to reduce casualties and property losses. Compared with traditional cable monitoring network system existing disadvantages of high cost, laying difficult and poor mobility, the wireless sensor network (WSN) is made of a number of small internal integrated information perception, computation, storage and communications, etc. Sensor nodes in a network system have so many advantages, so coal monitoring application can be a very good effect.Based on the current research of the cluster, this paper set hot routing protocol LEACH agreement as the research object, firstly studies the existing wireless sensor network routing protocol, so the agreement in the actual application of good results are obtained. Analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of LEACH agreement and zero cluster head and the imbalances of cluster head, more specific improvement are made, also proposes an improved energy efficient LEACH-A agreement algorithm:the whole network area are divided into several concentric circles of the ring small area, the selection of cluster head node joined into the surplus energy and the distance of the limiting factors, also put the surplus energy and distance factors taken into consideration during the node cluster head jump optimal path choice, so as to achieve a balanced network energy, prolong the network life. Finally use Matlab to get simulation analysis, separately from the network node, the number of the network live surplus energy, gathering node position change these three aspects to comparably analysis LEACH agreement, LEACH-C agreement, LEACH-A protocol. The experimental results show that the improved LEACH-A agreement has the performance advantages to the above three aspects.
