With Chinese large-scale freeway construction in mountain area. Many highslopes are formed. The security and stability of high slopes has been an importantconservation link of highway construction and maintenance management. To ensurethe safety and stability during the period of highway construction and operation, it isnecessary to implement safety monitoring in high slope. On the basis of the existingslope monitoring technology studied, technicican can use the wireless sensor networktechnology to improve the monitoring level. Thanks to the development of the Internetof Things, technicican research into high slope monitoring techniques which are basedon the wireless sensor network.The innovative achievements of the paper as follows:①The paper takes advantage of the self-positioning technology for wirelesssensor networks to achieve displacement monitoring on the surface of the slope. Putforward appropriate safety monitoring method according to whether there havebuildings or not on the slope and ues intelligent sensor to monitor the deformations ofthe cracks in the buildings.②According to the conditions of slope monitoring data transmits and the type ofshort-range wireless network, the paper selects Zigbee network to realize thetransmission of data as well as automatically data acquisition and storage of sensornodes. By using sink nodes to realize data storage and short-range wirelesstransmission. Establish the geological disaster of Internet of Things monitoring systemfor remote controlling platform to realize the anagement.③Study on the site layout of wireless transmission network. And take the localesimulation experrment, comparing group measurement and group prevention schemewith scheme of monitoring technology based on wireless sensor network.During the monitoring process, the wireless sensor network provides importanttechnical guarantees for the safety construction and operation management of theslope, without any effect on the accuracy of data acquisition and the betimes of datatransmission, which improves the level of the slope safety monitoring.The system canrealize all-weather and automatic monitoring working with unattended.
