With the development of the technology of internet of tings, now our monitoring system based on this important technology allows the wireless sensor networks to collect and handle information at the same time. That means the wireless sensor networks can handle and transit the information it collects accurately, which can provide users the basis for controling and deciding in later period. China is an agricultural country with a wide area, complex geomorphologic situation. The monitoring system based on technology of tings carve out a way towards the modern precision agriculture technology. Therefore, this new monitoring system will be a revolution on increasing agricultural production and improving its management efficiency and bring great social and economic effect. For these reasons, it will have a good market value and prospect. This thesis aims to design a monitoring system based on technology of tings in the need of agricultural condition monitoring for the mountainous area, flatland and other area with complex geomorphologic situation. The whole system includes two parts:a wireless sensor network nodes and a operation system. This system takes in relating technology of GIS and Remote sensing and satellite positioning system, so it can monitor the temperature, humidity, light, wind speed, and PH value at the same time. That’s how it meets the demands of precision agriculture. The monitoring system I try to show here has been put into effect in tea base in Baoshan. The system has 30 network nodes, which make sure the system can transit data stably and accurately for a long time; The software of the system has the abilities of managing and analyzing data, modeling, warning, and it is connected to the wireless public communication network. The performance of tea base monitoring system shows that it has been a successful example of agricultural condition monitoring based on WSN for the precision agriculture.
