With the rapid development of China’s market economy, the industry has emerged as a vibrant scene, in which especially the development of the catering industry. In recent years have shown a rapid development of the state of affairs, but the rapid development of the catering industry in the daily operation and management is still generally manual management, the overall low-tech. The effective management of a problem, is not considered an effective solution, workflow technology, these small and medium-sized restaurants, hotels, and implementation of computer management system for effective problem-solving to improve the economic efficiency of enterprises.This paper mainly expounds the restaurant business management research background and research status, the system for the development of the key technology related to the introduction, Using the process oriented method, the system needs of related acquisition, and the business process on the very detailed analysis, at the same time the system involved a general description of the data flow, the system overall design, detailed function module design (including basic business management, menu management, business management, cashier management, reserve management and personnel management and other related functional module), database design (concept structure design and physical structure design), and finally use VS2012development tools to design the main forms of this system.System requirements analysis phase of the system development, the out line design stage, the logical design phase, the database implementation phase, system debugging and testing phase, reference phases.
