Restaurant management system is an electric management way, serving the restaurant’s daily management, and it is a scientific management system to meet the food and beverage industry. Under this background, the project was carried out by designing and implementing intelligent management system to the restaurant chain. The system contains four subsystems, and realized the unified chain catering enterprises with information technology and intelligent management. The main function of the overall contains cloud chain restaurant management system, including brand management, store management, menu management. The restaurant cash register management sub-system includes table number management, booking management, order management, etc. The pad intelligent ordering system includes table selection, choice of food, call service, user evaluation, etc. The Wechat public number intelligent ordering system includes booking dishes and table number appointments.The author was involved in the overall project development and design work, mainly involved in the clouds chain restaurant management systems and smart restaurant cash register system design, development, testing and maintenance work. Specific work as follows:(1) Participated in and completed system feasibility study and requirement analysis. By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the existing system and combining with the management system requirements, the author was involved in developing chain restaurant management system requirements document.(2) Participated in and completed the overall system architecture design and process design. Cloud end and restaurant end server is the core of the system, and the author participated in the overall server architecture. Based on restaurant chain business process, the author was involved in the design of the overall system data flow.(3) Completed or participated in achieving the relevant module. The author used PHP language equipped ThinkPHP framework realized some functions including brand management, store management, menu management, log, table numbers, appointments, orders, one key distribution and other modules.(4) Write unit test cases for relevant modules and make the quality assurance, and the author was responsible for running and maintaining system in the end.The author’s participation and development work in the project is intended to achieve system function module and ensure smooth development and design work, and mainly completed the function module implementation to achieve orderly unified management to catering business brand, store, menu, system login, customer orders, customer reservations and so on. The design and development of management system was completed by a series of tests and verifications. Finally the system had been successfully on-line and overall operating condition was stable. The system software design reflected the development of philosophy "high cohesion and low coupling", and the overall structure was reasonable design, and possessed good characteristics such as usability, flexibility and scalability.
