With economic development, the advantages of RFID has been gradually recognized byeveryone, an important factor in restricting the large-scale use is the cost of tags, printedlabel antenna is an effective mode of production to reduce the cost of tags, so it has broadapplications.At present, the screen printing is most used to print antenna. But the printing process is avery complex process, the quality of products are subject to various factors. Tag antenna witha relatively high manufacturing accuracy requirements, which directly determines the mainindicators of the use of distance, the transmission efficiency of the RFID tags. Therefore, thestudy screen printing parameters on the performance of the tag antenna is necessary.Firstly, the working principle of the tag antenna and the basic parameters of thecharacterization of their work performance, to design a microstrip balun feeder dipole antennausing HFSS software obtained through the analysis of simulation results, the antennaperformance basic design requirements; and then by changing the structure parameters, theantenna length and Barron size changes on the antenna resonant frequency.Second, respectively, the dipole antenna in the screen printing manufacturing process,characteristics of the conductive ink, screen mesh and squeegee parameters on the antenna,the ink film thickness, and dipole antenna designed in this paper as an example, select thescreen mesh, squeegee angle, squeegee pressure and curing temperature of four factors, theorthogonal experiment, the best printing process parameters derived from the analysis ofexperimental results.
