With the development of Data Warehouse, On-Line Analysis Processing and Data Mining technology, the research about Decision Support System has entered a new stage. Through building taxation data warehouse with On-Line Analysis processing and Data Mining technology, we can raise efficiency on making taxation plan and provide more efficient method for tax source management, data analysis, scientific management, risk analysis and taxation prediction.The paper is mainly concerned with the design and implementation of the analysis and prediction system based on data warehouse in the field of taxation after expounding relational knowledge. First, the paper analyzes the characteristics and architecture of data warehouse. On this basis, the technology of On-Line Analysis processing and Data Mining in data application layer are described. Then the paper shows the design of the taxation analysis and prediction system, including the data acquisition layer, data management layer and data application layer. Data warehouse is not a product, but a kind of system framework that can be designed. Then the article proposes a program to build the tax data warehouse normally. The paper discusses how to get high-quality data through ETL process. And it shows several kinds of data extraction programs and the main work of data extraction and load. In the process of building the data warehouse, we worded out the way to update data warehouse based on inserting timestamp into the database and updating all the data in the table. The method solves the problem that how to update the vast amounts of data in the data warehouse. Finally, we achieve the tax revenue forecast in use of ARMA time series forecasting methods and the data is close to real data. It provides good basis for managerial decision.
