Research Of Network Optimization Based On Quality Of Experience

Third generation mobile communication technology has been widely used in China, the increasingly fierce market competition requires telecommunication service providers to pay attention to QoE(Quality of Experience). QoE is a user’s subjective feelings on network performance, and is also the user satisfaction with service. It affects the choice of users on the network. Telecommunications service providers actively monitor and manage QoE, timely solution to problems affecting QoE can improve user acceptance and enhance the operator’s brand value. At present, the network is more emphasis on user-oriented optimization, network optimization should be implemented from the user true feelings, close to QoE, focusing on QoE, it is the direction of the development of network optimization.This paper,reference to the industry research,which proposes a quantitative score of QoE principle, describes the difference and relationship between QoE and QoS and establishes a mapping between QoE,KQI(Key Quality Indicator) and KPI(Key Performance Indicator).The paper makes an analysis of all KPIs that associate with the voice QoE by system clustering method and draws the shortest distance dendrogram of clustering.The paper determines six evaluation indicators of the voice QoE and calculates the optimal weight value between QoE and evaluation indicators by AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process).Indicators are standardized by the same measure, inverse indicator transformation, the efficiency coefficient method. In order to accurately calculate the voice QoE, six evaluation indicators are defined by signaling messages in calling flow and called flow.The paper calculates location area code, cell identity, international mobile subscriber identity size of QoE by VB program.The calculation method of QoE has applied to practical work.The engineers analyze the result under different size of QoE calculated with the actual data, find the network problems and draw up a specific network optimization program, after the implementation of network optimization the voice QoE gets promoted. The major indicators evaluating network performance have also significantly improved.Practice proves network optimization based on QoE of the rationality and reliability. Finally, the summary and the prospect on this research are given.
