Design And Implementation Of Workflow-Based Administrative Approval Management System

Along with the deepening of e-government and "The People’s Republic of China Administrative Licensing Law" taking effect, the Chinese government starts the unified standardized information construction. The government is accelerating functions’change gradually. The Chinese government management system also reflects the streamlined, unified and efficient characteristics. The Government departments are integrating administrative approval, building a convenient and efficient administrative system to form a new administration model. Therefore, the establishment of a flexible and efficient system of administrative approval is quite necessary.This thesis mainly describes the development process of a workflow-based management system of administrative approval. The system is based on Microsoft’s. NET platform and use c#language and asp.net technology. Microsoft Visual Studio2008development tool and Microsoft SQL Server2008database system is used in the system. The system has applying, approval, monitoring and other functions in the administrative approval process. Modular design concept, ADO.NET database access technology, database index and storage process technology is used in the system. The system is quite efficient in the implementation and fast in the query speed. After careful testing, the system with flexibility and practicality characters can meet the users’requirements, simplify users’operations, improve processing efficiency and reduce administrative costs.The thesis first describes the background of the project, the system development purposes and raises the project, giving the thesis’structure arrangements. Then the thesis describes the use of related technology systems. In analysis part, the thesis first introduces the system’ specific functions and its development environment, and then gives the system data flow graphs of all levels. In system design part, the thesis firstly introduces overall design of the system, and then describes the divided module designs in detail. Finally it introduces the database design of the system, giving part of the designed ER diagrams and database tables. In implementation part, the thesis introduces in detail the specific implementation of each module and the key technology used in it. In system test part, the thesis introduces the system’s unit testing, integration testing, interface testing, stress testing and installation testing in detail, and gives the test results.
