As a effective expansion of Wireless metro network and3G network, there is nodoubt that wlan technology is one of most promising technologies in Wirelesscommunication. In recent years with the concept of broadband, mobility, IP-Basedproposed, wlan technology is becoming one of the highlights of this field in globalcommunications. It also becomes more and more widely used just because of its highspeed to Access, easy-to-use structure, low system cost and better scalability. With thedevelopment of the hardware and software technology, wlan technology formed abusiness and systematic trend in chip, design, manufacturing and softwaredevelopment at this stage, which makes the wlan product sensitive, stability, security, and other performance improved significantly. However, with the development of dataservices, and emerging application scenarios. All of these raised new challenges of thepracticality, efficiency, security of traditional WLAN networks,.This paper provides a new network technology which is different from thetraditional WLAN networks. In a traditional WLAN network architecture, wireless hotspots is "wired" to expand the network coverage, Wireless Mesh Network takes a pointor multipoint networks topology, which is the largest compared with the traditionaldistinction between WLAN networks. The main content of this paper is to analyze andstudy the centralized management of wireless Mesh network topology, and theadvantages and disadvantages compared to traditional WLAN networks. And finally, toachieve the wireless Mesh network centralized management.
