The policy of energy saving and emission reduction plays an important role in pro-moting, the comprehensive, coordinating and sustainable economic and social development, increasing economic efficiency, making technology progress, using resources reasonable, protecting and improving the environment. The furnace is not only one of the most impor-tant equipments., but also a large energy consumer on steel rolling line in steel enterprises, but the current exhaust gas from the furnace temperature is about400℃, and this can not meet the new energy conservation and emission reduction requirements. So the installation of waste heat boiler in the flue to recycle gas waste heat has become an effective en-ergy-saving measure. The purpose of boiler water circulation is to design the waste heat boiler, modify waste heat boiler to determine the optimal loop structure in the case of larger changes in the circulatory system, check the reliability of heating surface’s work, and pro-pose measures to improve the reliability. The main contents of boiler water calculation in-clude steam quality by mass, total system circulation multiple, pressure drop in circulation loop, and the reliability index of the design.By analyzing the structure of waste heat boiler water circulation system, this paper fo-cuses on establishing the mathematical computation model, making a process flow chart of waste heat boiler for heat furnace, and designing a visualization water circulation program for it by Visual Basic6.0, Excel and Access. Functions of this software include the calcula-tion of natural circulation and forced circulation of furnace waste heat boiler, and the forced circulation is divided into the design calculation and check calculation. All kinds of pa-rameters of the system can be worked out through the program. It contains:system steam output, steam quality by mass, total system circulation multiple, the water enthalpy of drum, heat load of cooling section, circulation flux, the real circulation velocity and the critical velocity, the relative location of the boil of point, the outlet pressure and inlet pressure, en- thalpy and temperature of each pipe and so on. The output result which is displayed in the form of table and graph and saved in the user database is visual for users.This paper takes Tin Steel’s ring stove waste heat boiler for the example, using the software to calculate the water cycle and analyze the effect of the operating parameters’ changing to the water cycle, then the general law will get from this.
