With the production craftwork of the Coal-fired organic heat carrier Furnaces and the actual request of the control system in this paper. DCS control systems based on Field-bus technology, PLC , computer and configuration software are introduced. Through the study and comparison of the control network and the communication mode, and with the consideration of the spread prospect in industrial production in future, profibus technology and the actual applied situation of industrial Ethernet technology are presented, which demonstrates maturity, reliability and advance of the two industrial network technologies. Especially they are fit for industrial spot which owes a lot of communication and high communication rate. Also through combining spot control facility's actual distribution, they can apply the configuration modes with concentration or distribution, satisfy the craftwork production and user demand at maximum level. In this system, PLC was used to implement the whole control design, inverters were used to adjust air-blower, air-drawer and grate-driven motor, and the industrial computer was supervisory device. Both conventional and intelligent control scheme was concurrent in the control system. The control system for Coal-fired Organic Heat Carrier Furnaces is the first of its kind which attains the control accuracy of ±1℃. It applies feedforward control, fuzzy control and intelligent PID technology and overcomes a series of factors like large heat capacity, big inertia, non-linearity, much disturbance etc..
