Cement production is a high energy consumption and more polluted industry, for ashortage of resources of China cement industry’s development, it is a problem to be reckonedwith. As for the call of energy conservation and emission reduction, waste heat power in thecement industry received extensive attention. At present the systems of the waste heat powergeneration always need the people’s operation, automation degree is not high, intelligentcontrol didn’t get Practical application in the system of the waste heat power generation, sohow to solve the problem, the automation degree is not high, is the key of the development ofthe waste heat generation. The optimization control of the waste heat power is must, nowmany advanced control theory is increasingly mature, which provide a new idea the solutionof the problem.The research project of this paper comes from the actual situation of the waste heat powergeneration system. I did a deep study for the problem, which the automation degree is nothigh in the waste heat generation. According to the cement plant, we did a reasonable DCShardware configuration, considering the stability and security of waste heat power generation,we used the ABB redundancy controller and redundant power supplies, using isolation outputfor the analog output, and to ensure the reliability of the waste heat power system.The software design used the powerful CBF configuration software. The mastercomputer did the reasonable programming for the waste heat generation system, the mastercomputer draw the human interface settings according to the need of the process and theconvenience of the operator’s operation. The problems in the debugging and the solution aredid the analysis and prediction, we also made the prospects for the problem and the directionof the control in the waste heat power engineering. The DCS control in the waste heat powergeneration is easy to realize, and has high reliability and increase the automation degree, andhas high practical significance to the comprehensive benefit to the enterprise and environmentpollution reduction.
