Facing the global Wave of Internet Information, there has been a huge change in the hotel industry, but more intense competition in the market. Under e-business environment, the speed of the information spreading more quickly, Word-of-mouth marketing becomes more important. Before booking room, the customer usually visit those popular travel website, they would makes some horizontal comparison to the local hotel, and choose a best hotel. Only the good word of mouth to win repeat business, enter into brand loyalty. How to get the hotel has a good reputation? The most efficient way is investing a lot of money in room environment, catering, communication facilities, entertainment facilities and other hardware in hotel. But almost all hotels are in the investment of decoration. How do leading further? A proven hotel management system can significantly increase the hotel’s level of service and efficiency, restructure hotel business processes, helping hotel manager understanding management information timely and comprehensively, making more accurate decisions, thus enhances the benefit of the hotel effectively. This article focuses on the process of design and implementation of the hotel management system using software engineering theory, the development of hotel group need system provides the networking function。 First introduces the present situation of hotel management system and those problems which need to solve.Second describes the key technology, analysis the requirement according to the actual needs. Undoubtedly using the.NET technology was the most appropriate choice for development the hotel management system. Third system modeling using graphical UML Language, finish detailed design and database design. Then selected some suitable modules to introduce the realization process of modules. Finally summarizes the characteristics of the system, as well as the difficulties and solutions. This system is based on3-layers B/S architecture design, using the Visual Studio Software as a development tool. A ASP.NET Runtime Platform consists of IIS components,. NET Framework, and SQL SERVER databases, and other software. The current selection is advanced and mature, flexible and extensible features, and cost more lower than the alternatives such as J2EE Platform. It includes reception registration, Financial Management, Membership Management, Inventory Management, Basic data management, Query, Report Modules. May meet the middle and small scale hotel major part service needs. In General, the system has the following features:Follow the trend of merging hotel groups, build an information systems based on3-tier B/S, break down barriers such as data transfer and sharing, and other requirement include Enterprise Content Management, Centralized Storage, Specification Standards, Uniformed Services. It could reduce business costs.Because using advanced technology such ASP.NET,ASP,C#,the system has high concurrency, high stability, and best performance of data query and update Because of three-tier including UI,BLL and DAL, A loosely coupled system with UI interface and background is easy to extend and maintain. When implementing a system, the best way for User Experience is making full use of various existing ASP.NET Web Controls and generated automatically and efficiently standard code, Not only to save workload and time, but also to avoid the browser compatibility issues. In addition to achieving foundation function, a lot of work are done in terms of system safety, performance, cross-domain authentication. There are already fixed mature programs, which module are easily rebuilding and more competitive.Compared to other systems, the system are mature, reliable and full-featured, so it has good market prospect.
