Therefore, hotelmanagement system of China’s small and medium hotels in information management is ofgreat significance.The development of hotel management system using Visual Studio2008as a softwaredevelopment tool for developers using ASP.NET language to complete the entire systempages and processing logic implementation, using the SQL Server2005database managementsystem provides data to support the system. Achieve a front site module, online bookingmanagement module, room management module, hotel information management module,system management module, and personal management module six system modules.Meanwhile according to the system requirements analysis phase non-functional requirements,the system has high integration, strong technical suitability and application adaptability,scalability and maintainability, high security and high flexibility.This article in accordance with the definition of software engineering, softwaredevelopment process, the hotel management system development life-cycle are discussed indetail. In the system requirements analysis phase to determine the feasibility of the systemdevelopment, UML modeling identified by users of the system functional requirements, butalso clear the system’s non-functional requirements; in the system design phase, using atop-down approach the system modules in detail the design and determine the database designprinciples and objectives, the completion of the conceptual structure of the database designand logic design; implementation phase in the system, the main modules of the systemimplementation process are discussed, with emphasis on system security system are described;during the system test phase, clear principles and methods of system testing, test procedures and test environments, and select the part of the test to the test procedure are discussed indetail, tested considers that the development of the hotel management system requirementsanalysis phase system has reached the requirements to achieve the intended target, has acertain value in engineering applications.
