In recent years the network public opinion triggered by group events has drew more and more attention to public. The Wukan Incident happened in September of2011and Shifang event happened in July of2012should be all paid high attention to. The Intervention of internet public opinion is crucial in these two cases. In this thesis I will find how does group events’ network public opinion happened and the formation mechanism of internet public opinion in group events.Based on case study, literature review and conceptual cause-censeque nce analysis, this study researches such group-events as "Wukan" and "Wal1-street Occupancy" to describe formation process and mechanism of publi c group-events via Internet. This study proposes four systems as componen ts of formation mechanism of public group-events via Internet, including b ackground system, manipulation system, media system and power system, which respectively deem event background, opinion component, media en vironment as well as survival demand, psychological imbalance, and medi a direction as prime factors. Results suggest that event background mainly covers intensified social conflicts, unfair profit allocation and exacerbating regional disparities. These factors primarily involves individual characteri sties of netizens and labelization of public group-events. Meanwhile, medi a environment is associated with Internet openness, diversified ways of opi nion description and group interaction. The momentums of development of Internet opinion network should contain survival demand, psychological i mbalance and media direction. In this study, a correct understanding of the cause and formation mechanism of the group events’ network public opinion can be gained by government staff and other related manager.
