Study On Project Schedule Plan For Airport Baggage Handling System

The construction of the baggage handling system is a key point in the airportconstruction project. It will directly impact on the project schedule of airport construction.The project will delay due to insufficient management on schedule of domestic baggagehandling project, leading to the airport failed to put operation on time. So the study onproject schedule plan for baggage handling system is a problem which needs to be solvedurgently.In this paper, combine with the baggage handling system at Hongqiao general traffichub, we put forward the template of decomposition of the three level work breakdownstructure, and generate a complete work breakdown structure of the project. Then based onthe considering of resource constraints and uncertainty, we calculate the critical path andtotal duration of the project and use C&P method, Goldratt method and SRSS method tocalculate the size of project buffer and feeding buffer on critical chain. Finally, use thesoftware for the Monte Carlo simulation and based on the comparative analysis of theresults of time duration and completion probability, we can get a reasonable buffermanagement method and optimize the project schedule plan. It will have greatimprovement on the practicality and stability of project schedule plan for baggage handlingsystem.
