The material demand in market of home care for the elderly is diverse,which issimilar or same to the demand of general market essentially.However,it is the materialrelated to care that the elderly is really eager to get,reflecting the existence of care byproviding material.The key of this issue lies in how to use modern information technologyto acquire the actual demand of the elderly,to build care-greet network to the elderlythrough effective social organization and do research on its operation information systemto provide support.The essence of care-greet network is how to organize people in the whole societywho are willing to dedicate to home care for the elderly to care the spirits of them as wellas solve their actual problems,with summarizing the demand of the elderly and helpingthem to recognise the hidden needs.Accordingly,operations information system ofcare-greet network have been discussed in this paper,in which the structure andsignificance have been fully analyzed,the content has been summarized.The functions ofoperations information system of care-greet network has been divided and the inneractivity procedures have been analyzed. Following the obove,the database has beendesigned, which provides this operations information system with direct data.With the function modules, internal processes and database design, an prototypesystem of this operations information system has been developed, in which realize theacquisition of care-greet network’s basic data,management of person or organization tojoin the network,match of person or organization to elderly, supervision of person ororganization’s care-greet activities and query of related information.
