The Application Of PON Technology In The Fangshan Rural Information Construction

PON technology has becom e an internatio nal hot spot within the scope oftechnology, Beijing Unicom is also actively involved in the PON test and construction.I was fortunate to participate in the Beijing Unicom PON project design, constructionand implementation.The paper comes from Beijing Unicom real business projects.As the network developm ent and popularization of inform ation technology,information construction in China has been rapidly developed,information technologyhas becom e the developm ent of social productive forces, econom ic strength andcompetitive advantage to im prove an im portant safeguard. Information covering awide range of areas, the im portance of in formation technology as a com prehensivepart of the rural information technology not only to change the backwardness of ruralareas, promote rural econom ic development, poverty eradication, it is an im portantway toward the well-off.In this paper, the construction of Beijing-based rural information, combined withthe current PON access technology research development at home and abroad, BeijingUnicom proposed rehabilitation program s in rural areas of the PON network, theprogram implemented in the PON network data, voice and video integrated serviceaccess, is to achieve the "triple p lay" and the information superhighway to solve the"last mile" of the best transmission medium.Paper first describes the current stat us of information technology in rural areas,through the analysis of various bro adband access technologies, specifically the PONtechnology in the developm ent of r ural information advantage. Then introduces theEthernet-based PON network, sums up the current mainstream technology for FTTx,PON standard status, and brie fly describes the implem entation principle of the PON,key technologies and technical advantages.Paper focuses on analysis of information technology in rural areas PONapplications. First, the status of the acce ss network of China Unicom wer e analyzed,and then put forward a rura l development program used in PON, PON then papersummarizes the process of deepening in the implem entation of the design points, abrief description of OLT, ODN and ONU bu ilding address, the distance and otherelements of the process of project implementation. PON access network used to verifythe feasibility of our PON technology in voice, data and Internet services and otheraspects of the test papers and results of th e test program is desc ribed in deta il, thearticle analyzes the test information in the rural areas in the PON business to provide a reference and foundation.
