As the improvement of the computer processing speed,the width of bus,dataprocessing and working environment has been required for high-performanceintegrated information processing system,the traditional embedded informationprocessing platform has been unable to meet R&D and product development.TheVPX (VITA46) standard and multi-core DSP array information processing platformhas a powerful data processing, communicating and performance network exchangecapacity,and its maximum theoretical bandwidth will be8GB/s.And with goodcommon performance and scalability,it will be the trend and direction of thegeneration of high performance integrated information processing platform.This text is mainly for the requirment of high speed real time informationprocessing.It devises the VPX standard and multi-core DSP array informationprocessing platform to achieve the capability of high speed data transmission andpowerful data processing. Information processing platform adopts DSP parallelprocessing structure in view of VPX exchanging stard, uses Serial RapidIOexchanging technology to solve a large number of communication between theprocessor. It uses multi-core DSP parallel processing to realize the capability of stronginformation processing, adopts multi channel high-speed optical fiber communicationbus to realize the capability of high bandwidth external communication.It finished the system composition of information processing platform,hardware resource planning and design alternative of each functional moduleaccording to aggregate demand and design alternative of information processingplatform; it finished the hardware design of Serial RapidIO switching andTMS320C6678DSP array processing module board。This information processingplatform is used for a plurality of two different scale, different information processingsystems, showing the platform having practical and convenient extensible/reductionperformance.
