Nuclear power with its huge energy advantage is becoming one of the main waysto solve the energy problem, Observing and monitoring of nuclear facilities is aintegral part for the safe operation of nuclear power plant.CMOS image sensor with high resistance to radiation, small size and highintegration features are gradually becoming new image acquisition device fornuclear power monitoring. Radiation-tolerance CMOS image acquisition systemswhich is used in nuclear power plant have developed in some countries. Also thisfield has been got some concern in ours, but no corresponding radiation-resistantsystem is proposed.Based on the application environment, a high radiation-tolerant CMOS imageacquisition system architecture is proposed, which is controlled by FPGA tocoordinate all modules and acquire data in radiation area, and then, display it in safearea.To some of problems in the system, solution is proposed. Also, some suggestionsfor system improvement is given.
