With the rapid development of FPGA chip technology, image data acquisition system is becoming increasingly common based on FPGA. It is a new problem that how to handle fast data collected and processed into the cache as soon as possible in this area now. Data acquisition system can collect data, and then it selects the valid information from them. Data acquisition technology is used in more and more areas, such as camera monitoring system, the images in 3G mobile communication acquisition, video conferencing and more.The efficiency of data acquisition will directly affect our ability to process image information timely and accurately. This paper analyses and compare with the current traditional image data acquisition technology. Currently the manners of image data acquisition technologies are based on computer and chips. Because of image data has large amount of image data and high frequency, they has problems about memory capacity and time when we select the data acquisition technology. In this paper, the major work including:1. Achieve the overall design of the systemThere is now several more prominent issues about image processing system, with the hardware-programmable FPGA, designed high-speed image acquisition system because the FPGA has short development cycles and higher data frequency characteristics. And we select the chips which works, study the work of the design.2. Design important circuits of the system and PCBThe circuit supports operation of the system, this paper focuses on the design of the system, the necessary power circuit, reset circuit, the external interface circuit, clock circuit and the circuit configuration, in order to achieve the circuit function we design the PCB.3. Designed a system main control moduleEach interface circuit needs to be controlled by software, high-speed image acquisition logic design is the key to the storage system, and the system describes the role the principle and implementation of the various modules used in details, particularly important for storage module to give a detailed introduction.4. Simulate sub-module about the design of high-speed image acquisition systemEach control module of the design need to see whether the logic meets the system requirements, and we take timing simulation after functional simulation and complete the system layout, and we need to see setup time, hold time and delay traces whether to meet the requirements of high-speed imaging system each module in the authentication system, and analyze the codes and performances from the functional simulation and timing simulation, and find problems then analysis and modify them.
