Focus on the disadvantages of various PLC temperature detector inmarketing, based on ARM core and high precision PLC temperaturedetector is proposed. In the industrial control field, there are manyvariables that need PLC for sampling, processing, and then output toachieve the purpose of real-time monitoring. Among these variables,temperature is an important parameter. How to achieve a wide range oftemperature measurement, sampling high speed, high precisiontemperature is a key parameter for high performance PLC. According tothe design spec, ARM Cortex-M3is selected as main MCU for designsystem. ARM core is used more and more in the industry control field forits good performance, low price and wide application filed.Reviewed a large number of domestic and aboard document aboutembedded design and ARM, be familiar with the common measurement oftemperature in the industrial control field is TC (thermocouple) and RTD(RTD), and deeply analysis of embedded hardware design calculation,design error, elaborated on the module’s hardware architecture. Meanwhileaccording to design spec, used of available funds and resources to make asmall amount of sample for design parameter testing, functional testing,to verify the feasibility of the design.The main discussion of this paper is based on ARM core, RTD input,to convert analog to digital for end user or PC monitor softwre.It isdesigned with a high-precision, high refresh rate for one temperaturedetecter, this technology will have a better application prospect in the PLCmarket.
