With the growing demand of network applications in the information-based society,network management is facing with the major issue that how to keep network safely,effectively and stably. The network topology state and data as necessary basis of networkmanagement, are critical importance on keeping the network uptime and optimization.This paper described data organization and management based on network securitymonitor in detail, analyzed such major problems like network topology’s data collection,storage and distribution, proposed the corresponding solutions to it, and then implemented thedata organization and distribution system.The paper starts to focus on the analysis of relational databases and Web Services relatedcontent, with emphasis on SOA based data organization and distribution technologies. On thebasis of these technologies, combined with the characteristics of the network topology, theoverall framework of the model for a data organization and distribution system is designed. Inthis system architecture, with the use of parallel and efficient multi terminal traversal model,this paper collects routing state information of network via SNMP to detect and control theproperty and violations of the nodes, sampling accurate network topology and mapping intothe E-R model stored in the database. Meanwhile, due to the immediate requirements ofnetwork management for real-time changes tracking in network topology, the concept of thenetwork topology archives is proposed, discussing about the update of the topology archives,comparison and output as well.Based on the research above, this paper implements network topology multi-scanningsystem, summing up whole research work with actual test result and performance evaluation.The system is based on a distributed architecture acrossed Windows/Linux multi-platform,adopting a modular hierarchical design with portability and scalability.
