As the improvement of people’s living standards and increase of the degree ofaging society, due to brain damage and external movement, the finger stiffness, spasmsand motor dysfunction is more and more, affect the patient’s work, living and learningseriously and bring tremendous burden to the patient’s family and society. Medicalresearch show that auxiliary training exercises can help the recovery of the movementfunction of fingers. The traditional rehabilitation training, one doctor to one patient, haslots of defects, for example, the rehabilitation cycle is long, the process is tedious and thecost is too high, so the research of finger rehabilitation robot to overcome theseshortcomings has become extremely necessary.Virtual reality technology has developed rapidly in recent years, integrating a varietyof advanced technology, including computer graphics, medical image processing, patternrecognition and artificial intelligence learning, also have been used in medical imaging, entertainment, film and other fields. Virtual reality technology can help the user tocomplete a specific task in a very strong sense of realism and immersion, and process theinformation of the task powerfully and comprehensively at the same time. Fingerrehabilitation systems based on virtual reality get attention gradually and receive aconsiderable development. The software, hardware and mechanical design of handrehabilitation system are described in detail. This paper analyzes the defects of the existing finger rehabilitation systems based onvirtual reality, such as the single function, low-security and complex structure, accordingto questionnaire, game theory and mechanism of rehabilitation evaluation, and develops asmall and lightweight rehabilitation system of hand movement function, it integrates ofvirtual reality technology, grip and pinch strength, accurate rehabilitation evaluationmechanism, can be used for clinical and family therapy, also The preliminary experimentsshow the effects of its rehabilitation. This system is characterized by low cost, easymaintenance, simple structure, and has important social and economic benefits and a widerange of applications.
