In recent years,it has gained the attention of researchers to use robot technology combined to virtual reality technology, network technology, multimedia technology and teleoperation technology for stroke patients' rehabilitation treatment, and that has become a hotspot in research of rehabilitation. Telerehabilitation applications can effectively resolve problems such as the lack of rehabilitation physicians and unequal allocation of rehabilitation medical resources. It is helpful for the stroke patients or hand disabled persons at home or community hospital.This paper first introduced the background and significance of finger remote rehabilitation training and evaluation system. Combined with the present researchment of domestic and foreign and hemiplegia rehabilitation basic theory, this paper has researched the traditional clinical finger hemiplegia rehabilitation treatment methods and problems existed,then the major research tasks were established. Based on the function of this system, this paper has put forward passive and active training mode and evaluation method on the combination of rehabilitation medicine finger recovery evaluation criteria for computer real time assessment.In this paper the design of virtual-reality-based scenario interactive training games is described for the active training mode, which are created to afford individuals post-stroke opportunities to practice tasks. The development of the one-to-many remote rehabilitation system is described in this paper, which allows doctor to monitor several patients' rehabilitation training simultaneously. With the remote rehabilitation system, doctor also can communicate with patients through the video terminal and make adjustment of treatment according to the video images and training data transmitted from the patient-side. In addition, evaluation criteria of hand function for computer real-time assessment has been researched and the relevant evaluation method has been designed in the last part of this paper to make the system function more perfect.In the end, it has been proved that the system has a promoting effect on hand function recovery by clinical trials. Clinical trials also show that the system can assist doctors in the rehabilitation training, and the validity and feasibility are confirmed in practical application.
