Internet of Things is another wave of global information tide following computer,Internet and mobile communication network, and it’s a new stage of globalinformation development. Our government has been attaching great importance toInternet of Things development, and has included sensor network in the key researchfield. Internet of Things, new energy, green manufacturing and so on have beenclassified as five new strategic industries of our country. At present, Internet of Thingshas become a hot topic of domestic and foreign studies. At present, because of suchfactors as low informatization level of China’s grain storage management, limitedinformation integration analysis ability of grain system and serious grain loss, it’surgently necessary for our country to construct Internet of Things in food industry,strengthen informatization management and intelligent control of grain storage, andimprove informatization level of China’s grain storage. This paper, with the target ofconstructing Internet of Things for grain monitoring in Storage, analyzes theapplication of Internet of Things in the area of food industry, key technologies ofconstructing Internet of Things for grain monitoring in Storage and the challenges weare facing, focuses on the study on structure system of Internet of Things for grainmonitoring in Storage and simulation analysis:(1) Study on energy optimization strategy of wireless sensor network. Energyfor wireless sensor network, especially for wireless sensor network buried in the grainis a huge limitation, and a barrier to construct Internet of Things system for grainmonitoring in Storage. The paper analyzes energy consumption of wireless sensornetwork in the grain, researches MAC and routing protocols, and puts forward a kindof strategy that can help save the energy and equilibrium energy-consumption.Experimental results show that this energy-saving strategy is very effective.(2) Study on Internet of Things system for grain monitoring in Storage. Researchinto Internet of Things system has great significance of constructing Internet ofThings. The paper, based on related study on public Internet of Things system andgrain monitoring system, proposes a kind of Internet of Things system for grainmonitoring in Storage. The experimental results show that Internet of Things system constructed can better meet the application requirements.Finally, the paper, according to study achievements, develops a set of prototypesystem of Internet of Things system for grain monitoring in Storage, describes thedesign idea of each subsystem, and realizes its related functions.
