With the rapid development of computer technology, network technology and videocompression technology, security awareness of people is in the continuous enhancement, thesecurity industry obtains fast development, and people’s demand on video surveillance productsis higher, then the IP camera gradually plays an important role in the place of security industry,and the IP cameras gradually turn from one-channel audio and video into the two-channel audioand video, even the multi-channel. This article made a two-channel audio and video IP cameraterminal hardware design based on the GM8180core microprocessor.This article first introduced the development of video surveillance systems, theperformance of the IP camera, and proposed the idea of the two-channel audio and video IPcamera in the foundation, and analyzed the functional requirements of the entire system,proposed an overall design framework of the two-channel audio and video IP camera based onGM8180core microprocessor, and it described the working principle of the hardware modulesin detail, and completed the hardware schematic design of the circuit module with the CaptureCIS software, including the design of the core module circuit of the system, DDR circuit,Flashcircuit, the video decoding circuit, the audio decoding circuit and other buffer circuit(includingEthernet circuit, MicroSD card circuit, GPS circuit, USB interface circuit, the UART interfacecircuit, JTAG interface circuit and system power circuit).This article analyzed how to use the Allegro software to complete the PCB design of thesystem after introducing the challenges and process of the high-speed circuit design, whichdescribed the isometric wiring and differential wiring of the DDR chips, and especiallydesigned the isometric wiring for high-speed signals between the CPU and DDR chips, and itcarried out an analysis and study in detail to this design above. Finally, this article also described the significance of the signal integrity simulation andcommon simulation model and the simulation software named SPECCTRAQuest, and then weused the SPECCTRAQuest simulation software to simulate the high-speed network betweenCPU and DDR chips after the whole PCB design, finally determined the correctness of thesystem work timing and the rationality of the whole system design through the analysis of thesimulation result.
