Research On Datebase For Assembly Of Modular Fixture Basic Elements

At present, changes in market conditions and production patterns put forward higher requirements to the companies. How to compete in an invincible position in the market are the problems faced by the companies. This paper advanced a method to establish database of the basic modular fixture for assembly components to achieve rapid assembly of modular fixture. The paper based on UG platform, make structure framework of modular fixture basic elements and UG-style man-machine interface. Establishing the project by using secondary development kit UG provided and VC++MFC AppWizard, set the UG/Open API programming engineering environment, write linker of DLL format, develop a database. Then, select the assembly of modular fixture from the establishment of the basic elements of the database to establish a modular fixture for the selected part. Then, the paper makes a modal analysis for the selected part to determine in the process of working conditions. At last, the paper advances the application of neural network in the modular fixture design.
