With the telemedicine technology and Home Health Care Engineering, A kind ofcommunity ECG monitoring system which is low-cost, low power consumption, easynetworking and large capacity network, stability network, reliable is designed in this paper. TheECG data which is collected from the patients by an ECG monitor can be sent to medicalinstitutions where health care staff are on duty through community-based ECG monitoringnetwork system platform in any time, and so that patients receive timely treatment help andrehabilitation guidance from health care works.The topics selected TI’s MSP430series MSP430F149microcontroller as the coreprocessor to design hardware platform, which includes the peripheral circuit design of theMSP430F149microcontroller, SD card data storage circuit design, the ECG data acquisitioncircuit and conditioning circuit design, interface design, as well as keyboard design. Systemsoftware design includes the run of the MSP430MCU by the C language control, ECG monitorcommunicates with SZ05-ADV embedded wireless modules and TC35GSM communicationmodule using C language and the host computer software interface control with LabVIEWgraphical programming language. In the end, the patient’s ECG waveform displays on the320*240color LCD of the ECG monitor, its interface is friendly and easy to control. As acommunity ECG monitoring system may achieve collecting, storaging and remote transmissingpatients’ ECG data and automatic alarmingThe subject selected the ZigBee wireless data transmission module and GSMcommunication module to achieve the remote transmission of the ECG data and automaticalarm, so the community ECG monitoring system network platform based them is the core ofthe design. Take full advantage of the SZ05-ADV embedded wireless modules and TC35GSMcommunication module as well as their internal resources to complete the establishment of themonitoring system network platform. The use of point-to-point connection to complete theconstruction of the community ECG monitoring system network platform, not only to ensurethe stability of the system, but also to allow each module coordinatly, orderly and stably work,in the same time makes health care workers of the medical sector find patients facilitately andquickly to do emergency help.This thesis is elaborated on each module which includes the main points,design thinkingand design methods in the system design. Test results verify the feasibility of the design andshow that the performance of this system has certain advantages, prodive effective solutions tocommunity health care and family care.
