At present, the community health care in China still follows the traditional way to medical treatment and rarely uses real-time monitoring system due to some restricted conditions. This is very adverse for the elders and the terminally ill patients, and may have missed the best time to treatment. With the rapid development of wireless transmission technology in recent years, especially ZigBee technology has been widely introduced to various kinds of industries included medicine. In the field of medicine, we can monitor accurately and real-timely every patient's ECG,blood pressure,body temperature,heart rate and so on with the help of ZigBee network and all kinds of sensors. This is helpful for doctors to make rapid responses, and especially suitable to care and cure the elders and critically ill patients. This application also applies to the community health. This paper mainly studies the applications of WPAN communication network based on the ZigBee in community health.Based on analyzing the development trend of medical technology at home and abroad, this paper studies the design and analysis of ZigBee WPAN transmission network which used in the community health monitoring system based on wireless communication. First, the paper makes detailed analysis about the characteristic,configuration and network topology of the main communication technology of system; Secondly, it puts forward the framework design and briefly introduces the realization method of the WPAN communication network based on ZigBee; Finally, the paper finishes the following three aspects of work about the reliability of the system, it is the research focus also is the main work I completed independently. 1. This paper studies the dose of electromagnetic radiation when the ZigBee-based network terminal works and indirectly proves the system's safety of electromagnetic radiation by analysing the SAR values of mobile phones.2. This paper focuses on the typical scenario for the simulation and analyzes the number of nodes and the packet length which have the impact on the throughput and average time-delay of the network, and then compares WLAN network with the ZigBee to prove what this paper proves that the ZigBee-based network has superior scalability and the smaller end to end delay, which fully satisfies the design requirements of the networking community health system.3. This paper has a brief introduction on the multiple technical standards of the 2.4GHz ISM band, and conducts a detailed analysis on the ZigBee networks and their coexistence, in particular the coexistence of WLAN and ZigBee, and puts forward the corresponding solutions.
