The paper introduces background, current status at home and abroad and thebasic theories relating to this subject. Then hardware circuit design of the LCDdriver and dynamic GAMMA algorithm and dynamic backlight control algorithm aremainly researched and realized. Finally, after hardware implementation andperformance tests, based on the themes of “energy-saving” and “dynamic GAMMAalgorithm”, the related innovations are as follows.With regard to the optimized circuit design of LCD driver: application of theMCU micro control unit to build a circuit system and effectively address the seriouspolarization due to the LCD panel in process technology and liquid crystalcharacteristics, LCD shows the stability of the system. The source driver has powerconsumption and high temperature as a result of the total voltage mode in traditionalLCD panel driver program, the design advantageously reduces power consumptionand operating temperature of the source driver, enabling the system to maintain astable output in the low-power conditions by the special circuit design andsemi-pressure mode. The design realizes the high contrast display and layering effectsby dynamic GAMMA voltage with CABC technology, DEA technology and DAGtechnologies.With regard to the cost of system: the system is designed to integrate thedynamic control and dynamic GAMMA design in timing control circuit system,greatly reducing the cost of modules due to the traditional sense of module needsFPGA to implement the backlight dynamic control functions and applications by othermanufacturers own unique technology, enabling the advantages of the integratedcircuit to ensure system reliability and reduce system costs. The theoretical analysis and design of this paper have important referencemeanings for further study and promotion of the TFT driver circuit design anddynamic backlight control theory.
