Wetland is anunique features of ecological system.It is one of the most importantliving environment and nature’s most bio-diversity of ecological landscape.It is thestrategic resourcesto realize the sustainable development in the process which relatetonational and regional ecological security.Liaohe estuary wetland is therepresentative of Chinese northern wetland. It is the largest coastal reed marshes ofChinese high altitude area. It has large areas of suaeda heteroptera and shallow seawaters,played an important role inadjustingliaoning central region climateandpreventing the bohai sea offshore eutrophication. But for a long time, becausehumans not reasonable using are increasingfor mouth, Liaohe estuary wetland of thereeds and suaeda heteroptera beaches degenerate serious,water and soil increasedlevels of pollution, biological diversity decline highlighted problems. In order toprotect the liaohe river estuary wetland existing resources,improve the wetlandantifouling purification function, and the wetland restoration of effectively, buildingsystemicliaohe river estuary wetland management system is imperative.This article from the importance and current situation of wetland research,introduces the general situation of liaohe river estuary wetland, analysis the presentresearchof domestic and international wetlands management system, and ultimatelychoose WebGIS frame to structure liaohe river management information system.In system structure,through the details analysis of the system of WebGISstructure and realization of the technical, Selection is based on the standard of OGCmiddleclient model system.System based on Debian operating system,MapServer asthe GIS Server to provide the OGC standard format of GIS data,TileCache as a GISdata cache service middleware in order to reduce the burden on the Server. Apache asa web Server, OpenLayers as Browser client, construct a Browser/Server WebGIS wetland management system.In functions of the system,the system adopts the PHP as the server developmentenvironment, divided into system data management, the basic function and wetlandspecial analysis function four modules, realize the liaohe river estuary wetlandmanagement information system’s main function.In data storage,through analysis of the spatial data expression and storagemethod integrate characteristics of liaohe estuary existing data.Choose objectrelational databasePostgreSQL/PostGIS on storage of spatial data and non-spatial data,optimize the data structure and improve the efficiency of spatial data access.In the client, the OpenLayers as browser client.Use OpenLayers characteristicsof more data format support, the browser compatibility, GIS powerful, fast responseand so on, use Google Map API as a system for reproduction, effectively improve thesystem for satellite Map response speed and reduce unnecessary storage space waste.
