With the rapid economic development, large equipment’s manufacturing isbecoming the pillar industry of the national economy. China is leaping from a bigmanufacturing country to a powerful one. The efficient and safe operation of largeequipment needs to be guaranteed. Besides, an appropriate maintenance schedulehas great significance for the reduction of maintenance cost and resources of largeequipment which is of high technical content, long maintenance cycle and highprice. So far, there is no mature theoretic and method for the assessment of largeequipment’s maintenance schedule.This thesis discusses the assessment of large equipment’s maintenanceschedule. Firstly, the concept and characteristics of MRO is presented, anddomestic and international current situation is also summarized, including MROsupport software development and the assessment of maintenance schedule. Theindicator system is then established after a comprehensive consideration of time,cost, efficiency and man-hour. Preventive and corrective assessment model are bothproposed, which are based on the integration of DS theory and Analytic HierarchyProcess. Lastly, the assessment system of large equipment’s maintenance scheduleis developed with Java Web and it shows excellent feasibility and validity.
