With the rapid development of economic and information, the finiteness ofresources and product individual needs, the modern systems and equipmentincreasingly develop towards the direction of large-scale, complicated andrefinement. The needs of green technology and ecological environment areexpanding. Chinese manufacturing industry’s transition is gradually from theproduct economy to the service economy. Manufacturing services has become thenew economic growth point of manufacturing enterprises.Facing the problems and challenges which are urgently to be solved in theMRO equipment, we study lean maintenance and maintenance decision andoptimization, starting from solving the two problems which are planningcoordination and maintenance process optimization. To optimize the wholemaintenance process, the lean MRO is used in maintenance process and the expertsystem, the optimizing theory and method are used in the maintenance plan,maintenance process scheduling, spare-parts production and material purchasing.The main part works as follows:1. Uncertainty quantization scheme. We analyze uncertainties in largeequipment maintenance and repair, and quantify uncertainties by fuzzycomprehensive evaluation method and probability theory.2. Mixed purchasing strategy. Using ABC classification and CVA (CriticalValue Analysis), maintenance material classification standards are built. And thematerials are classified by the standards. Different materials are procured by thedifferent procurement strategy.3. Assembly plan optimization method. Due to the complexity of equipmentmaintenance process, the inconstancy of repair specific contents and thediversification of maintenance techniques, the assembly plan is drawn up andoptimized by the method which is based on CCPM (Critical Chain ProjectManagement) and flow process.4. Collaborative plan model based on maintenance BOM. We set upcollaborative plan model based on maintenance BOM, which coordinates theassembly plan, scheduling plan, production plan and procurement plan. In thecollaborative model, the different departments’ business activities are uniformly coordinated, the plans link up with each other on time, the materials are purchasedby JIT, realizing lean MRO goal.5. MRO decision support system based on SOA. We developed the lean MROinto a decision support system to achieve planning coordination and the wholeprocess optimization. SOA architecture and different types of service componentsare designed to achieve agility and extensibility for the complicated equipmentMRO.
