With the acceleration of economic globalization and rapid development of information and network technology, decision making in organization is no longer the traditional independent form, but the collaborative decision making (CDM) that fully exchange and discussion among the users involved. In order to improve the performance of the decision making, group members need to use make comprehensive use of various disciplines of knowledge timely and effectively in the process of CDM. Collaborative Decision Making Support Platform (CDMSP) facilitates group members reasonably in information processing, model analysis, knowledge use, and many other aspects. Therefore, CDMSP researches have great theoretical significance and practical value.Nevertheless, until now CDMSP is a new research subject, and the results of the research are few. It still has not formed a quite unified understanding and lacking systemic and thorough research. In view of this phenomenon, according to the overall structure "clarify the basic concept—Construction of overall framework—key technologies", this paper has conducted a systematic study on CDMSP. The main work of the paper is as follows:(1) Firstly, the concept of collaborative decision making and collaborative decision making support platform are elicited and defined. CDM is a decision making method that group members analyze and evaluate the options actively and make the final decision in a collaborative way, where group members willing to sharing views and knowledge through exchange, discussion, negotiation and other collaborative interaction manner. And CDMSP means that decision makers combine computer application systems to solve the semi-structured and highly unstructured decision issues through the organic integration of human and computer.(2) Secondly, a framework of collaborative decision making support platform oriented group interaction is constructed. With the framework, the paper analyzes and depicts the work process and the main function modules of CDMSP, and the platform mechanism based on principle of Petri Nets are also given. Construction and analysis of the framework provide a holistic and systematic description, and play an important role in the successful development and implementation of CDMSP.(3) Thirdly, knowledge requirement models and knowledge matching algorithms of knowledge push technology in CDMSP are proposed. Based on the analysis of the function of knowledge push technology in CDMSP, the paper constructs the knowledge requirement models from the two perspectives of user customization and decision task, and then, the corresponding matching algorithms are given.(4) Fourthly, collaborative interaction process model and group consistency algorithm are presented. Based on the analysis of the function of collaborative interaction in CDMSP, the paper constructs the collaborative interaction process model, including the life cycle model and the general process. And the group consistency algorithm of collaborative interaction is also given.By the end of this paper, the main fruits and conclusions are summarized. Following that, the further research needed is pointed out.
