Laser imaging radar has been widely used in aviation, military and other fields. Compared with foreign countries, China still has big difference in this field. This paper explores the development of a laser scanning imaging system.On the basis of comprehensive analysis of various components and related technology of scanning imaging lidar, first of all, finish the selection of core components. The system adopts the solid-state Nd:YAG laser pumped by laser diode as emission unit; vibration mirror used as laser scanning unit; APD photoelectric detector is used as laser echo signal receiving unit; SR620time interval counter measures the time interval between emission signal and echo signal. Complete the construction of experimental system.When using non-coaxial optical design, without the focusing lens, we can obtain ideal imaging result within the40m range. This article analyses the imaging distortion reason and put forward to improve the APD saturation delay problem when using coaxial optical design. It can provide the reference for further research on laser scanning imaging radar.
