Production Analysis On Chinese-affairs Reports By International Media Which Are Based In China

This research studies international media on the production analysis aboutChinese news and reveals the influence factors with the help of text analysis andinterviews.The study shows that, as the development of international media, the newsthey made has great impacts on China’s image on the international stage. So arelative study is needed to analyze the producing process over the Chinese newsmade by international media, especially for those which are based in China. Underthe trend, the author aims to explore the influence factors that might affect newsproduction about China so that we can do better on China’s image in the future.Finally, this thesis finds that the influence factors mentioned above includethree parts. First, the culture background will have great effects on foreignjournalist over the news coverage. Second, the pressure from local governmentshould also be paid much attention to. Third, target audience and the market needare the usual factors. The author hopes that more studies will focus on this topic topromote the better development of China’s image.
