With the internationalization of tourism and the severe competitionin the attraction of local tourist, tourism brands start to becomeinternational and target at international tourists. In China, more andmore cities and scenic spots make plans or strategies to buildinternational tourism brand and start to practice. Most of them activelyuse international medial public relations to promote themselves in theworld.However, in the process of building international tourism brands,there are a lot of problems, such as no international media publicrelations awareness or haven t being aware of it, lack of the guidanceof theory and strategy, as well as old ways of public relations, even nospecific design or plan.Strategies of international media public relations in the process ofbuilding international tourism brands includes:1, create the awarenessof public relations;2, professional public relations specialists andpublic relations department;3, specific international media publicrelations design;4, build, manage and maintain international mediapublic relations.International media public relations in the process of buildinginternational tourism brands will get more attention and there will bemore researches emerge to guide the practice.
