The Agenda-Setting Interaction Between Traditional Media And Web Media In Sudden Events

Accompanying with our country entering the crucial period of reform and opening up, the economic system reforming deeply, and the social structure changing profoundly, and the interest structure adjustmenting deeply, and the ideas of people changing profoundly, and the interest conflict and social contradiction highlighting ceaselessly, and in recent years, various types of geological, meteorological disasters have occurred occasionally,and various types of sudden events taken place frequently. Sudden events are the important content of press that mass media communication generally focus on, with its effect of information dissemination will directly take effect on the public social cognition. Appropriate agenda-setting and the correct guidance of public opinion can improve the propagation effect of sudden events.Agenda-setting theory is a vital communication theory in a field of communication studies, while it has been explained very clearly, and in detail by academic circle. Officially introduced in1989, and since then, many scholars put media agenda setting as their important study object. After the emergence of network media, because of the existence of its heterogeneity between traditional media and network media, it becomes greatly possible of the interaction between them. Especially in emergency communication, agenda interaction becomes very meaningful between traditional media and network at media setting.In this paper, the writer is trying to use the most concise language to elaborate the agenda-setting theory in detail upon the basis of studying documents and data through the method of document research. At the same time, it analyzed the characteristics of the emergency communication in this paper, and by comparing advantages and disadvantages of traditional media and network media, pointing out the reason and necessity of interaction of agenda-setting in both traditional media and network media propagation of sudden event. In addition, this paper also analyzed that there are two forms of resonance and fracture in presence of traditional media and network media agenda-setting interactionThe key point and innovative idea of this paper lie in answering how to do well the interaction problem to emergency communication between traditional media and network media, while found there is little research document concerning this issue when do studying of document and data by writer of this paper. To answer this question is significant, because it is related to the effect of emergency communication.Finally, thesis on the development orientation of sudden events propagation mode is discussed in this paper.
