Transmission network optimization is a long-term system expansion project. With theemergence of new business on the internet, new technologies, optimizing the construction oftransport network should be built into a reliable network meeting the Internet new era, from apractical point of view combined with market demand and the enterprise long-term developmentperspective. The original SDH system of Huangshi Telecom can not supply sufficient service forGE,2.5G POS,10GE,10G POS and other large particles business transimission with low loadefficiency. In order to fufill the target of " high-speed access, transmission through IP,controllability of network resource, integration of network service ", to promote local transmissionnetwork resources coverage and large particles business carrying capacity on the existing basis,Huangshi Telecom should carried out the local transmission network optimization as soon aspossible, rationally used of cable resources, built a new system of local loop or expansion accordingto the local backbone nodes with insufficient cross-business capacity.Firstly, the transmission network optimization theory and the concept of DWDM wavesubsystems are introduced in this thesis. Then, based on analyzing the structure of the localtransport network, the status relay cable and basic cable resource utilization, the existing problemsin Huangshi telecommunications network are studied and analyzed. Finally, the implementation ofoptimization of the expansion plan is proposed in this thesis by combing the development ideas andconstruction principles of Huangshi local transmission network. And later, by the realization of newproject of80X10G DWDM system, the cable carrying efficiency and the10G and other largeparticles business capacity effect are enhanced, and some reference methods are provided forincreasing utilization rate and enhance the network cable resources scheduling flexibility, reduceoperation and maintenance costs.
