Wlan Model Implementation Based On Andorid Platform

WLAN-Wireless Local Area Network, it is the product of the combination of computer networks and wireless communication technology. It uses the wireless channel to access the network. It became one of the most effective way for access network, since it’s high-speed, flexible, easy management and easy to expand. Android is a Linux-based mobile platform, and developed by Google. Android is a set of mobile software including OS, middleware and key applications. So far develop802.Ilb/g/n wireless device based on Android is one of the hot topic within the embedded system research and development area. This paper studies the possibility and the implementation of connecting device to internet via WiFi on Android platform. Then quote the solution to mobile phone platform, and implement the wireless network access for mobile phone base on the Android platform. The starting point of this paper is the analysis of802.11WLAN concept, then the page states design principle behind the communication protocol, the operation of wireless network, how to build a mobile network systems, and how to provide a similar experience in the use of Ethernet and wireless network. The paper also uses Android phone as an example, analyze the HW system architecture of the wireless network device and the basic process and system framework of the WiFi module on Android platform. This paper then studies and analyzes the firmware upgrade and migration, and implements the transplantation of the WLAN module and implement the UI interface for connecting to internet via WLAN module as well. Finally, carried out a detailed test and improvement for the function based on embedded software engineering principles and methods.
