The Huaihua railway company’s communications network consists of fixed voice network and data network, two mature and stable network structure, its income is distributed mainly in fixed telephone and Internet users, but because the two networks are independent business development, to provide the service is simple, operation mechanism is also different, with the market the increasingly fierce competition, and in the state under the influence of the policy, the telecommunications industry has entered the era of the whole business, the major operators in order to reduce the operation cost, open up new business, increase profit, network integration of the whole business is imminent, and Huaihua railway after so many years of development, the network is gradually protruding comes out now. With the GPON broadband access technologies are introduced, marking the" copper retreat into the light" era, in order to enhance the market competitiveness to meet the future needs of the development of the market, the Huaihua Tietong network reconstruction and optimization be imperative.First the paper provides an overview of the current telecom industry status and market trends, the CRC branch in Huaihua facing the competitive situation and development trend of network, made clear the main task, and the engineering program needs the technology are introduced, including the NGN technology, soft switch technology, GPON technology. according to the Huaihua Railway Branch of the present situation and the existence question, according to the actual characteristics of the whole network, to market demand analysis, grasp the design principle according to the design target to develop the network transformation design.
